On 6 January 1986, a stevedoring company was established under the name of PT PRIOK JASA STUWADORE. A year later the same company changed its name to PT PBM OLAH JASA ANDAL to reflect its strong commitment in providing quality port and terminal services in the port of Tanjung Priok, Jakarta.

Over the course of its 20 years journey. PT PBM Olah Jasa Andal has achieved several significant feats such as : entering the Terminal Operators Union in the Port of Tanjung Priok in 1993, winning the bid for managing the 212-213 berths for a 5 years contract from 2000 until 2005, attaining the ISO 9001:2000 certification on september 2001. winning the bid for running and developing the 301-302-303 berths for a 5 years contract from 2005 until 2010 and attaining the SMK3 (Work Safety and Health Management System) certification in 2006.
